Rachel Dunkel is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. A Florida native, she has since lived in Boston, Asheville, New York, and Detroit. She carries them all with her.

Rachel earned an MFA at The University of Southern California in The John Wells Division of Writing for Screen and Television in 2025. Her short RUN LIKE YOU LOVE ME is upcoming from Square Peg (Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster, Yona Strauss).

She is represented by Jacob Epstein and Justin Wolf at Lighthouse Management & Media.
