Rachel Dunkel is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. A Florida native, she has since lived in Boston, Asheville, New York, and Detroit. She carries them all with her.

Rachel earned an MFA at The University of Southern California in The John Wells Division of Writing for Screen and Television in 2025. Her short RUN LIKE YOU LOVE ME, produced by Square Peg (Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster), is almost done, promise.

She is represented by Jacob Epstein and Justin Wolf at Lighthouse Management & Media. Those guys rock.
